Como funciona » Explaining the technology

SONOCUBIC® is Software Based Solution for medical images running on conventional PC Hardware.
It acquires and processes the 2D images from the video output of any ultrasound scanner. Any transducer (Transvaginal, Convex or Linear) can be used. It is possibe to render volumes of a "volumetric 3D probe, or 4D" too.

How it works:

Using conventional 2D U/S scanners: The user studies a patient as usual. Once the user finds a pocket of amniotic fluid (Ob application), or other interesting anatomy, he or she simply steps on a pedal and sweeps the probe across the desired area.

If Scan & See mode is chosen, SONOCUBIC will automatically render a 3D image, one after another, While the user sweeps the probe.

Using U/S scanners that have Volumetric Probes: The volumes stored in CD-Rom from many Volumetric Ultrasound Scanners models can be studied post-processed using all the advanced SONOCUBIC tools. The rate of success can be dramatically enhanced when in low amniotic fluid condition. The stereotactic effect of the VOLUTRACER is one of many resources to enhance the rendering.*

DICOM (CT, MRI, US): If a Pacs server with DICOM data is available, SONOCUBIC DICOM OPTION can load the slice series to build a cine loop. With this data converted to FACE ARRAY FORMAT, all 3D rendering including MULTI PLANAR REFFORMATTING and movie compression is available. SIDE BY SIDE of different modalities is an exciting option to do "Ultrasound like" CT scanning.*

SONOCUBIC EXCLUSIVE TECHNOLOGIES:

Scan & See

© Medge Platforms
Just releasing the footswitch will immediately render a 3D volume without touching the PC.

Manual 4D

© Medge Platforms

Sweeping the probe back and forth manually, generates a sequence of 3D images showing the fetal movements.
The result is a cyclic movie where the fetal activity is displayed.

Stereoscopic Imaging

© Medge Platforms Amazing technology to "feel" the third dimension using stereo glasses.
The baby is "floating" outside the monitor.
MORE INFO

FACE ARRAY®
With FACE ARRAY all the volumes are kept. No patient data is lost.
The user can pick any volume and retouch it as needed.*

ANATOMIC BOX®
© Medge Platforms
SONOCUBIC provides Artificial Intelligence to reorientate and auto dissect the volume.
No more hazzle attempting blind navigation.
A few clicks over some 2D landmarks will deliver a perfectly oriented image.

VOLUTRACER®
When there is lack of fluid, or a structure is blocking the face, VOLUTRACER will eliminate it using this UNIQUE STEREOTACTIC SEGMENTATION TOOL.*

...outstanding productivity and performance!
SONOCUBIC can store multiple higly compressed 3D cines rocking on the screen into a single 1.44 Mb Floppy disc, or a "media folder" for later CD-Rom recording/e-mailing.

...and more:
The results can be e-mailed pressing one button to the referring physician or to the patient's e-mail.*

...and printing:
An advanced Multi Format printing tool is available to assemble a multi images page in full color, using either conventional PC printers, or Medical DICOM printers.*
